It's a day dedicated to celebrating all things active, healthy, and well-being oriented. Whether you're a gym junkie, a yoga lover, or someone just starting to dip their toes into the world of exercise, National Fitness Day is all about inspiring and encouraging everyone to get moving and embrace the wonderful benefits of physical activity.
At Active, we want to inspire individuals to make healthier choices, adopt active lifestyles, and experience the numerous physical and mental benefits that regular exercise can bring.
We've organised activities at both Les Quennevais and Springfield on Wednesday 20th September, for Active members and for non-members, take a look at the schedule below!

11:30am: Nutritional Talk with Lucy Goddard in the Dance studio
You will learn how what we eat can change how we think, how healthy foods support exercise, what a healthy plate might look like and what foods can help to reduce inflammation and help to balance hormones.
12:30pm: Intro to Barre Class with Lucy Goddard in the Dance studio
Experience the grace of movement in our half-hour Intro to Barre class. Led by Lucy, this session blends ballet-inspired techniques with Pilates and yoga elements to sculpt, strengthen, and elongate your muscles.
Plus Try our Les Quennevais classes for free!
We are offering non-members the chance to try our classes for free on National Fitness Day, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Spaces are available to book up-to 7 days in advance on the Active Jersey app for members or by calling 449888 for non-members.

4pm: Intro to Step Circuit with Jane Hamilton in the Dance studio
Step into a world of energizing fitness with our half-hour Intro to Step Circuit class. Join Jane in a dynamic session where cardio meets strength, as you navigate through invigorating step routines seamlessly integrated with bodyweight exercises.
4:45pm: Intro to Yoga with Jane Hamilton in the Mind and Body studio
Embark on a rejuvenating journey of self-discovery with our half-hour introductory yoga class. With Jane's guidance, immerse yourself in gentle stretches and mindful breathing, cultivating a sense of inner harmony.

We're excited to open our doors at to both members and non-members, inviting you to try our gyms at Les Quennevais Sports Centre and Springfield absolutely FREE on Wednesday 20th September!
It's the perfect opportunity to jumpstart your fitness journey, explore new workouts, or simply enjoy a day of active fun. Whether you're a seasoned fitness enthusiast or just starting, we have something for everyone.

We'll be running fantastic competitions and Leaderboard Challenges at Les Quennevais and Springfield on the day! Make sure you enter to be in with a chance of winning one whole years' Active membership, worth £521.30!
